Oh Baby it’s getting cold outside…

On Saturday we were walking through the centre and a lady came up to my darling girl (Bear) squeezed her cheeks and shouted ‘it’s like having Charlotte here’….Once I had recovered from the whole incident and Bear had stopped laughing….she loves the attention….I looked at her and realised, unintentionally I have started dressing my little girl like Princess Charlotte and actually she kind of does have a look of George about her (it’s in the cheeks I think?!)

So, even though when it comes to my style I’d prefer to think I’m more Moss than Middleton my little Bear has more than a touch of the Royal baby look about her wardrobe.

So, if you too are inspired by the recent Canada tour the lovely Royals took here are a few high street hits to recreate the look.

I think the key is to simplify… Bear might have a cute motif on one item but we like to keep it simple. I bulk buy peter pan collared vests and white tights to create a great base for the more fun pieces.

The Dress – Next £13-£14

A ditsy print and a smock front, that’s what we are looking for and this little Next number is ideal! –

The cardiganMarks and Spencer £12

We want it to almost look like someone has knitted it but not ‘homemade’..you know what I mean! I’ve found the m&S one’s wash really well and look so preppy, without me having to spend evenings getting me and my wool in knots!

The Bow – Marks and Spencer £5

So cute and unfortunately our only way of stopping passers-by say ‘isn’t HE lovely’ we LOVE a bow…just like the princess!

The Coat – Monsoon £38-£40

Is it wrong that I want this coat purely for a little trip to church on Christmas day? Well, I’m sure Charlotte is working on her Balmoral wardrobe so why shouldn’t my little princess 😉
